The Virtual Hong Kong Government Flying Service (vHKGFS) is a Virtual Special Operations Organization (VSOA) operating on the VATSIM network. We are a dedicated community of flight simulation enthusiasts committed to replicating the real-world operational excellence, versatility, and precision of government air support in Hong Kong airspace

Our Operational Mission

Unlike standard virtual airlines, vHKGFS focuses on specialized, high-stakes mission profiles.
Our core operational roles include:

  • Search and Rescue (SAR): Offshore maritime search, mountainous terrain rescue, and emergency dispatch tracking.
  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Rapid MEDEVAC transfers and emergency hospital transport operations.
  • Tactical Support & Surveillance: Airborne reconnaissance, border monitoring, and specialized flight support during virtual network events.
  • Firefighting & Disaster Relief: Aerial firefighting support and specialized disaster response operations.
